Galway comes in solid and heather colors (the Highland Heather is slightly more expensive). It knits as a worsted weight, 5 st per inch on a #7 needle (4.5mm), and 4.5 st per inch on a #8 (5.0 mm) needle. The put-up is 100 gm balls, 230 yards per ball. It works up beautifully, does not pill, and wears extremely well. Hand wash and dry flat. |
