mdavison.jpg A Handweaver's Pattern Book
$33.00
This is Marguerite Davison's definitive collection of 4-harness weaving patterns. Originally published in 1944, this book has remained in print simply because it hasn't even been approached, much less equaled, for its depth, breadth, and completeness in covering traditional 4-harness drafts and weaves. Marguerite Davison worked in the Weaving Dept. of Berea College, and accumulated reams of weaving data from historical notes, the travel notes of others, information of private weavers, older books by weavers, and libraries, Embassies, governments, and publishing houses to publish the most extensive set of patterns for 4-harness weaving ever put together. A must for all serious weavers, I've have my copy for 25 years.

scarves.jpg Handwoven Scarves
$23.00
This is one of Interweave Press' newest books. It is a gorgeous collection of the finest scarves from the artists who have contributed to Handwoven magazine. These scarves have not necessarily shown up in Handwoven Magazine, but they are the personal best of the weavers that Handwoven has featured over the years. They are an eclectic mix of 4-harness and multi-harness weaves whose main characteristic is the "WOW" factor. I have my own copy. I suggest that you weavers get yours. - Molly Mahaffy
