Brown Sheep Nature Spun Wool is a great, soft, all-purpose wool. It is made in Mitchell, Nebraska, and is relatively inexpensive because it is not subject to import tariffs or big shipping fees. It comes in 3 different weights: Worsted, sport-weight, or fingering weight.
Worsted weight is put up on 100 gm (3.5 oz) pull skeins, 245 yard per skein. Sport weight is put up on 50 gm (1.75 oz) pull-skeins. 184 yd per skein. The fingering weight is put up in 50 gm pull-skeins, 310 yd per skein. The Fingering weight comes in a reduced colorway, but is available on either skeins or 1-lb. cones (2800 yd). The Worsted Weight and Sport-weight comes in the full choice of colors. The Sport-weight is also available on 1 lb. cones (1682 yd) |
