Schacht low-castle standard floor looms

The low-castle option on Schacht's standard floor looms stands only 37". It makes the loom look smaller, though there is no difference in the footprint or functionality. The high-castle does have a storage tray on top, and a hole in the castle top for the swivel in of an extension lamp. These looms are available in either 36" or 46" weaving widths, 4 or 8 harnesses. The 4-harness can be upgraded to 8 harnesses at a later date.

These have either 4 harnesses and 6 treadles, or 8 harnesses and 10 treadles, with a weaving width of either 36" or 46". The width of the loom is either 44" or 53", respectively. The height of the breast beam is 32", and height of the castle is 46". The depth of the loom open is 38". The depth of loom folded is 26". Weight is 100 lb. for the 4-harness, 36" weaving width, 115 lb for the 46" 4-harness, weaving width. For the eight-shaft model, add 25 lb to the weight. 800 heddles are included in the 4-shaft models, and 1000 heddles are included with the eight-shaft models.
