| This is a partial list of the double-pointed needles we carry. Again, I'm including a quick overview of double-points for those who haven't done a lot with them. Double-point sets of needles are for doing circular knitting, generally on items with such a small diameter that they can't be done on circulars, such as sock, booties, or closing up the top of a hat. The sets come in either 4 or 5 to a set, and in a variety of materials. Most of us prefer wooden or bamboo in these needles because of the tendency of a bunch of small double-pointed needles to fall out on the floor when you pick up your work if they are slick. A few of us, those who have a serious grip, can't use them, because they will break on us, and those people find they need the metal whether or not the needles drop out occasionally. |

Brittany double-pointed needles, sizes 0-10.5 $6.95 These are the Brittany birch double-points, well-finished, and a pleasure to use. They come 5 to a set, in sizes from #1 to #10.5, and in 3 lengths, either 5", 7.5" or 10".

Clover Bamboo double-pointed needles These are the Takumi Clover bamboo needles from Japan. They are very smooth, well-made, and highly polished, without a resin coating. They are made of the finest grade of bamboo, and don't split at the ends. The double-pointed needles come 4 to a set, and are 7.5" long. regular double-points These are the Inox needles from Switzerland. They are aluminum covered with teflon, except some of the larger sizes, which are plastic. They plastic ones are indicated.
The double-point(DP) sets by Inox have 5 to a set, making them easier to work with. The exception to this are the 12" lonf double points. They come in sets of 4.
